Technical information
Here you will find a comprehensive overview of all relevant technical features, performance data, and specifications that are important for a better understanding of functionality and quality.
Fan Variants
Our directly driven radial fans are offered in two configurations:
- Type 4: with motor support plate for motor stabilization (standard)
- Type 5: without motor support plate
All fans, except types N and NP, are delivered as Type 4 by default. All models can be supplied in the alternative version upon request.
Operating Notes
Minimum pressure
- Some fans must not operate free-blowing. If the minimum pressure is not reached according to the performance curve, the motor can be overloaded.
Check current consumption
- During commissioning, the current should be compared with the motor nameplate data.
VFD operation
- Maximum frequency must not be exceeded. Power changes with the cube of the speed. At very low speeds, an auxiliary fan may be required. Always indicate VFD operation in inquiries or orders.
60 Hz operation
- Modified impellers are used for 60 Hz networks; performance curves for 50 Hz and 60 Hz are identical.
Connection
- Use circuit breakers with C-characteristic. For 3-phase motors, a 3-pole breaker must be used to avoid phase loss. Consultation and Inquiry.
