We supply explosion-proof cast iron motors from ATB in IEC frame sizes 63 to 450.
The ATB low-voltage explosion-proof motors (formerly F&G / FPM) are known for their reliability, long service life and cost efficiency – available in IE1, IE2, IE3 and IE4 energy efficiency classes.
Consistently high quality is ensured by ISO 9001 certification.
Applications
- ATB explosion-proof motors are used in:
- Chemical industry
- Offshore and onshore installations
- Marine applications – e.g. as cargo hold fans or pump drives
Delivery
- Frame sizes 63 to 200 (All speeds) : Delivery time 6-10 weeks.
- 225 - 450 frame sizes and special motors: delivery time 8-16 weeks

Does Kurt Maier Motor-Press GmbH have explosion-proof motors in stock?
No, explosion-proof (Ex) motors are not kept in stock by us.
What is the approximate delivery time for Ex motors?
Depending on the manufacturer and configuration, the delivery time is generally between 5 and 12 weeks.
For special motors, the delivery time may be longer in individual cases.
Which efficiency classes can kmmp offer?
- Cemp and Wolong (ATB) three-phase motors can be manufactured in IE2 up to 0.75 kW and in IE3 and IE4 from 0.75 kW.
- Exceptions are possible. Please contact us.
- ORANGE1 three-phase motors are also available in IE2 up to 0.75 kW and in IE3 from 0.75 kW.
- Single-phase motors (only from Cemp and ORANGE1) are available in IE2.
Can kmmp still supply IE1 motors?
- Motors that were manufactured in IE1 before 01/07/2021 may be replaced once after that date.
- For this, the serial number of the old motor is mandatory.
- This regulation is valid until 01/07/2029.
