Information on the External Fan
The Z-RBK external fan is a heavy mill duty solution with a gray cast iron drive motor and IP66 or IP57 (67) protection. Units are available in insulation class F or H and can be supplied with special voltages and custom configurations, e.g., heating band, tropical protection, high ambient temperatures up to 90 °C, or aluminum fan blades.
The high rigidity and stability of the unit, combined with flexible manufacturing options for the mounting adapters, allows installation on all standard electric motors.

The external fans are available in sizes 112 to 470 and can be offered with either multi-voltage or special voltage configurations.
Flexible Construction & Materials
The fan unit can be supplied with terminal boxes in PPN (plastic) or aluminum or without a terminal box with loose lead wires.
The fans are equipped with low-noise, performance-optimized impellers made of plastic or aluminum. Hoods and adapters can be manufactured from up to 5 mm steel or 2.5 mm stainless steel. Custom colors and coatings are available on request.

What is the delivery time?
Standard sizes can be ordered in small quantities from stock. Custom-made external fans generally have a delivery time of 3–4 weeks.
Can I get the external fans with a finished coating?
In the standard version, our external fan housings are delivered with a gray primer. On request, they can also be powder-coated in almost any common RAL color. Alternatively, manufacturing in stainless steel is also possible.
What supply voltage can I use to operate the external fans?
Most of our external fan types have a multi-voltage connection of 346–525 V, 50 Hz or 380–575 V, 60 Hz. Sizes 63–225 even include a single-phase connection.
