MW Type IP66 External Fan
Information on the External Fan
The MW fan series in Ex design is specifically developed for use in explosion-hazard areas.
The MW fans feature axial fan blades for a quiet operation with high airflow performance. They are suitable for ambient temperatures up to 60 °C.
The units come with UL/CSA approval, IP66 protection, and insulation class F, and are available in sizes 250 to 315.

Flexible Mounting & High-Quality Construction
The screwed, replaceable frames (connection adapters) can be customized to motor connection dimensions, allowing for easy series installation or retrofit for external fan operation.
The fan units are supplied with a 2 mm stainless steel frame (hood adapter).
The dimensions match the MW standard multivoltage type according to datasheet 1M, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.

We can manufacture the external fan according to your specifications starting from just 1 piece. Please use our inquiry datasheet for this purpose.
What is the delivery time?
Standard sizes can be ordered in small quantities from stock. Custom-made external fans generally have a delivery time of 3–4 weeks.
Can I get the external fans with a finished coating?
In the standard version, our external fan housings are delivered with a gray primer. On request, they can also be powder-coated in almost any common RAL color. Alternatively, manufacturing in stainless steel is also possible.
What supply voltage can I use to operate the external fans?
Most of our external fan types have a multi-voltage connection of 346–525 V, 50 Hz or 380–575 V, 60 Hz. Sizes 63–225 even include a single-phase connection.
