The MW series external fans are available in a multi-voltage version designed for ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C. All units are UL/CSA approved and rated IP66.
These external fans are available in frame sizes 63 (56) to 225 and are specifically designed for operation in low ambient temperatures down to -40 °C.
Multi-Voltage Range (+/- 5 %)
- Single-phase: 230–277 V Δ 50 Hz / 60 Hz
- Three-phase: 346–525 V Y 50 Hz / 380–575 V Y 60 Hz
Flexible Mounting and Customization
The screwed and replaceable frames (connection adapters) can be adapted to your motor connection dimensions, enabling easy series assembly as well as retrofit for external fan operation.
The external fan units are manufactured with frames (hood adapters) in gray-primed sheet steel or, upon request, in stainless steel.
The dimensions match the MW standard multi-voltage type according to datasheet 0M.

Can the external fan also be supplied in special dimensions or configurations?
We can manufacture the external fan according to your specifications starting from just 1 piece. Please use our inquiry datasheet for this purpose.
What is the delivery time?
Standard sizes can be ordered in small quantities from stock. Custom-made external fans generally have a delivery time of 3–4 weeks.
Can I get the external fans with a finished coating?
In the standard version, our external fan housings are delivered with a gray primer. On request, they can also be powder-coated in almost any common RAL color. Alternatively, manufacturing in stainless steel is also possible.
What supply voltage can I use to operate the external fans?
Most of our external fan types have a multi-voltage connection of 346–525 V, 50 Hz or 380–575 V, 60 Hz. Sizes 63–225 even include a single-phase connection.
