The MW external fan series delivers reliable cooling with IP66 protection and UL/CSA certification – ideal for industrial applications where high performance and durability are essential.
Equipped with axial fan blades, these units offer quiet operation while providing high airflow.
Operating range: ambient temperatures up to 60 °C, optionally up to 70 °C.

Flexible Installation and Adaptation
The bolt-on, interchangeable housings (connection adapters) can be precisely modified to match motor connection dimensions.
This allows for easy series installation as well as simple retrofitting for external fan operation.
Housings are supplied in primed grey sheet steel as standard, with stainless steel available upon request.

Technical references
Can the external fan also be supplied in special dimensions or configurations?
We can manufacture the external fan according to your specifications starting from just 1 piece. Please use our inquiry datasheet for this purpose.
What is the delivery time?
Standard sizes can be ordered in small quantities from stock. Custom-made external fans generally have a delivery time of 3–4 weeks.
Can I get the external fans with a finished coating?
In the standard version, our external fan housings are delivered with a gray primer. On request, they can also be powder-coated in almost any common RAL color. Alternatively, manufacturing in stainless steel is also possible.
What supply voltage can I use to operate the external fans?
Most of our external fan types have a multi-voltage connection of 346–525 V, 50 Hz or 380–575 V, 60 Hz. Sizes 63–225 even include a single-phase connection.
