Information on the External Fan

The E-RBK external fan series is equipped with a single-phase connection of 230 V, 50 Hz or 230 V, 60 Hz (±5%).
A direction-dependent plastic impeller directs the cooling air along the inner edge of the hood and over the cooling fins of the electric motor, ensuring efficient heat dissipation.

These external cooling units (FBI) feature protection class IP55, insulation class B, and are available in sizes 63 to 132.

Cost-Effective & Versatile

These cost-effective single-phase external ventilation units are supplied in standard IEC dimensions (see dimensions datasheet).
The external fan unit is available with terminal boxes in PPN (plastic) or aluminium, or without a terminal unit with loose wire ends.

Can the external fan also be supplied in special dimensions or configurations?

We can manufacture the external fan according to your specifications starting from just 1 piece. Please use our inquiry datasheet for this purpose.

What is the delivery time?

Standard sizes can be ordered in small quantities from stock. Custom-made external fans generally have a delivery time of 3–4 weeks.

Can I get the external fans with a finished coating?

In the standard version, our external fan housings are delivered with a gray primer. On request, they can also be powder-coated in almost any common RAL color. Alternatively, manufacturing in stainless steel is also possible.

What supply voltage can I use to operate the external fans?

Most of our external fan types have a multi-voltage connection of 346–525 V, 50 Hz or 380–575 V, 60 Hz. Sizes 63–225 even include a single-phase connection.
